Itinerary

Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi Impe­netrable National Park (Approx. 8–9 Hours Drive)

  • Depart early from Kampala (around 6:00–7:00 AM) for an 8–9 hour scenic drive to Bwindi.

  • Travel through rolling hills, tea plantations, and local villages.

  • Check into your lodge or campsite near Bwindi and relax.

  • Optional evening walk or birdwatching.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience

  • Early morning briefing and breakfast.

  • Trek through the misty rainforest in search of mountain gorillas.

  • Spend up to 1 hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat.

  • Return to lodge for lunch.

  • Afternoon visit to a Batwa community:

    • Learn about their traditions, music, and forest survival skills.

  • Evening relaxation at the lodge.

Day 3: Bwindi – Kampala (Approx. 8–9 Hours Drive)

  • Breakfast at the lodge.

  • Optional short forest walk or birdwatching.

  • Depart Bwindi and drive back to Kampala, passing scenic landscapes.

  • Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon or evening.
